Dive conditions thru Tuesday 4/3/12 for Vero beach & Fort Pierce

ok, it is looking pretty good starting Thursday for Vero Beach & Fort pierce.  Although I have heard it has been calmer this week under foot waves with swells of 3-5 feet.  Not too bad today and under 3 feet tomorrow for swells.   Temp today 76 degrees and water temp 71 degrees.  Looking good for shore diving means under 1.5 feet in these areas for swells.  Surf guru is also showing that it will b flat on Friday with half foot waves the rest of the week.  Chance of rain a few days but it is Florida.  Monday looks like late morning showers.

For Monday tides: (take about 33 minutes off each day back and add 33 mins for Tuesday)

04:34 AM 3.07 ft High
10:44 AM 0.33 ft Low
04:59 PM 3.15 ft High
11:11 PM 0.11 ft Low

Rich has a birthday on Monday so we are looking for a few days off.  I am giving him Sunday off as well while I cover the shop.  It is spring break here in Brevard County this week.  Pity lobster season will be over but with the high tide before 11am, it might be pretty good visibility for snorkeling as well on the front reef.  Initially thought about LDBS for shore diving but we are gonna wait two weeks till when prices drop.  Which BTW, prices drop  for off season.  Some places by $100 a night.  Not that I am a cheap skate but a couple of those short breaks at lower prices mean a new steel tank! So plan is to bum around in Indian county, do a couple dives, have some lunch, have some beach time, relax.  If not Monday due to staff, then Tuesday.

Also looking at 3 day trip somewhere around 20-24th of April in West Palm area.  Mixing a little business with pleasure.
